Q. I don't recognize your name. Just who is really providing the long distance service? A. The main service provider is Qwest. The billing and 24/7 customer service point of contact company is PowerNet Global. EZ-Telcom Service Center is an Agent for AmeriCom, the reseller of Simplicity and other Qwest/PowerNet Global communication services. If you are a client of EZ-Telcom Service Center and are having a problem resolving or dealing with any of these other companies, just give us a call and stand back. We'll take care of it for you. That's what service is all about! Q. What type of network is used for my long distance call? A. All network services are state-of-the-art, 100% fiber-optic facilities. Q. What's the big deal about 6-second billing increments? A. Put simply, more savings because the amount charged per minute is less. Read our in-depth discussion of 6 second billing. Q. Do I have to dial one of those 10-10-XXX numbers to make my calls? A. Absolutely not! After you sign-up, your number is automatically pointed at our service for call completion. Domestic calls are completed by dialing 1 + area code + number. International calling is likewise completed by dialing 011+ country code + city code + number. Q. If I do move to your service can I still use a 10-10-XXX number for certain calls if I want to? A. Most certainly yes! You are the person in control. We hope our rates are the best in the market but if you should find an exceptionally attractive international rate from another 10-10-XXX carrier, you can dial their code and route the call to them. Q. Is there a charge to move my service to you? A. Generally speaking, your local telephone service provider will charge you a minimal one-time fee for each line moved. The average charge is in the $5 to $7.50 range. The savings you receive by using our service easily offsets this amount, but we go one step further well pay for your changeover! Make a copy of the local Telephone Company bill page showing the change charge and send that in with your billing from PowerNet Global. The amount charged by your local Telephone Company for the changeover* will be credited to your account. * This does not include any penalties that might be incurred for canceling an in-place term contract early. Q. Do I have to sign a contract or commit to your service for some length of time? A. Absolutely not! No contracts or commitments are required. You can change anytime you choose. We plan on keeping your business by continuing to offer you the best low-cost, high-quality service available in the marketplace. Q. How does your billing work? A. The billing company for this service is PowerNet Global. Their name will be on your invoice. A billing statement showing all calls and their associated cost will be sent to you monthly. The payment method is up to you. You may auto-pay using your credit card, pay by check or money order, or use an automated pay-it-for-me type payment service. Q. Can I have multiple lines billed to the same account? A. Absolutely! Lines can be billed individually or grouped together. Lines ordered together will be billed together. Contact EZ-TSC Customer Service on 1-888-257-2507 if you need something different and we'll accommodate you if at all possible. Q. Is the Simplicity rate plan being offered just a temporary pricing schemesome type of bait and switch? A. No schemes here, just a great offering. The rates offered are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There are no plans to change what is said to be the "Best deal in town". Q. You quote an Interstate rate of 5.5 cents per minute. What about the in-state rate? A. In-state rates vary by the state. This is due to individual state regulation. To find out what your In-state calling rate is, click here to find out. Q. What is a LATA and why is IntraLATA calling different from Intrastate calling? A. Intra means "within". Calling from within a state to another point within the same state is Intrastate calling. The rate charged for that type of call is our In-state rate mentioned in the prior question. For a description of an IntraLATA call click here. A call from a point within the LATA to another point within the same LATA is considered to be an IntraLATA call. To avoid confusion, we charge the same for an IntraLATA call as we do for an In-state call. Normally, our IntraLATA rate provides some of the largest savings. Make sure you send that traffic to us, too! Q. I'm still not sure your Simplicity service is the best deal. How do I really know? A. Shop around. Call the big three or whomever else you choose. Use our handy buyers guide to help you compare. The buyers guide can be found by clicking here. Q. Do you offer calling cards for your customers? A. You bet! Calling cards are available for all EZ clients, business and residence alike. Best of all is the super low calling rate of 9.9¢ per minute for calls anywhere in the continental US. There is no cost involved with ordering or having a calling card. You are only charged the 9.9¢ per minute if you use it. Order yours today by giving us a call. You never know when you are going to need one. So, the best policy is to keep one in your wallet or purse for when that unexpected moment shows up. Q. Are the rates and conditions different for business and residence customers? A. Absolutely not! They are identical. We've kept it simple. That's one of the reasons it's called Simplicity. As a matter of fact, toll-free 800 business and residence service are also priced the same as the 1+ outward service. Q. You have mentioned other types of service that I'm not familiar with. For example Boomerang, Debit Talk, World Access and .WS domain name service. What's that all about? A. These are different types of service available to any of EZ-TSC's customers. Many of them are directed at International callers requiring a more cost effective way of calling worldwide. For a full description of each of the other services click here. Q. What about the EZ teleconferencing service you are offering. Is that something I need? A. I can't answer that question. Business clients normally use this type of service. That is not to say that special interest groups, family gatherings, etc. might also find this service useful and beneficial. But, the main users are the business community. The main benefit of the EZ Conference Center is that the rates offered are 40-60% less than that offered by AT&T, MCI & Sprint and there are no cancellation fees if you should call a scheduled conference off at the last minute. Further, you can schedule teleconferences ahead of time if you choose or just call them when needed. The choice is yours and the options are extensive. Call 1-877-936-2663 with questions or to schedule a teleconference call. Teleconference operators are standing by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They are there to serve you and provide the highest level of customer service available. Q. Is your service only available locally? A. Absolutely not! Our service offerings are available to all individuals and businesses nationwide. Our callback services and special prepaid calling care products are available to all international users worldwide. Feel free; better yet, make it a point of telling all your friends, family, acquaintances, and business contacts about our services. If they can't or choose not to sign up online at our Web site, just have them call our toll-free number, 1-888-257-2507 and request a mailer. They should leave their name, telephone number, best time to reach them, and company name (if appropriate). Tell them to just say "I need a service mailer" and we'll take care of the rest. Q. What type of Internet service to you offer? A. Our 56Kbps dial-up service is offered at $14.95 per month. The access and transport is supplied by Broadwing Communications. They maintain a 100% state-of-the-art fiber optic backbone IP network. Higher speed dedicated data service is also available (supplied by Broadwing or Qwest). Our business Data Dedicated business Internet service is available in a DSL, T1, fractional T1, and shared broadband environment. Q. What is the Wholesale International Brokerage part of your business all about? A. Weve been in the telecommunications business for well over 37 years. During that time weve made many friends and contacts worldwide. We know who the good guys are and more importantly, who not to do business with (theres a lot of snakes out there in case you didnt know it). Our goal is to put together a quality buyer with a quality seller of telecommunication services for the mutual benefit of all parties involved, including EZ TSC. Wholesale services and their inherent lower cost are usually only available to telecommunication carriers. Weve changed that general rule and are able to provide large commercial users, in addition to carriers, access to previously unavailable pricing. Just let us know what you have or are looking for and well take it from there. Again, this service is for large users only. If you are not sure if you are a large user, send us an e-mail and tell us about your needs and well see if we can help. After all, thats our job! Q. How does Focal Communications fit into your line of products/services? A. EZ Telcom Service Center is an Authorized Agent (representative) for Focal Communications. Focal Communications, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), provides state of the art broadband communication solutions for business clients. They specialize in providing local services in place of the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC), which is Pacific Bell in the case of 95% of California. Generally speaking, using Focal will result in a cost savings of 25-40% over the LEC. A complete line of voice, data, and Internet services are available from Focal Communications. Focal is not for every business client. Find out if Focal is for you. Q. What is .WS Domain name registration? A. Domain name is a term used to describe the name address an entity uses as an address to be found on the Internet. Most of us are familiar with the .com, the . net and the .org extensions used in Internet addresses. The main problem is that most of the good names are all gone now, so what to do? The answer is to come out with a new extension (e.g. .WS) and start all over again. This is literally the ground floor again and assuming you want to get on the Internet with your own unique domain name, now you possibly can. Use our .WS domain name checker and see if your MYNAME.WS is available. If it is, you can reserve it now. Don't let this opportunity get away again. |
